Selina Woo Bhang is a Manila-based interdisciplinary artist from Luyos, Nueva Ecija. Throughout the span of Selina’s evolving career, her work has continued to explore her own identity, sexuality and existence as a Filipino-Korean woman by drawing on a diverse range of experiences across rural and urban settings.

Her practice is informed by a versatile career spanning both sides of the camera. Drawing from a regional modeling background, she translates her experiences into her roles as an art director and graphic designer—notable works as an Art Director for TV commercials for Smart Communications (Project FURFUR) and OPPO Philippines (Project OA).

She is currently employed as a graphic designer at Plus63, an independent design studio based in Manila. Selina has also extended her practice into cultural commentary, contributing opinion and feature writing to publications such as MEGA Asia and Preview Philippines.

The Facts: Selina is a dedicated movie dork and an everyday practitioner of pourover coffee brewing. Her recent discovery of specialty coffee grown in Yúnnán, China has been her go-to brew at home. Right now, her favorite films are Lady Vengeance and Whisper of the Heart.
