Sambar—helmed by Chef Nicco Santos and Chef Quenee Vilar involved a great deal of visual identity development. This was an extensive project spanning from 2021–2023. From its infancy to its latest pop-up, I took an illustrative approach that mirrored Sambar’s essence: playful but never childish, distinct yet deeply rooted—much like their Peranakan-inspired cuisine.
